Overall, the Sabres were pretty successful this week, beating Winnipeg and Ottawa, but losing an embarrassing game to Boston. To add injury to insult, Miller suffered a concussion from Lucic's hit. Though we discuss the game and the hit at length, our main discussion is about the defense.

Sabres vs Lightning

There will be no SabreCast for this game. Matt and I picked a winner and watched this one down at HSBC Arena. Unfortunately, we just ran out of time to put together a podcast tonight, but we'll be returning on Saturday night after the game against Washington.

The Buffalo Sabres were handed their first regulation loss against the Ottawa Senators. The Sabres lost 5-2 in a game that saw Lalime in the net and was filled with special teams play.

Rivet Out for Two Weeks
