SabreCast 4.09 – Defense (Or Lack Thereof)

Overall, the Sabres were pretty successful this week, beating Winnipeg and Ottawa, but losing an embarrassing game to Boston. To add injury to insult, Miller suffered a concussion from Lucic's hit. Though we discuss the game and the hit at length, our main discussion is about the defense.

The Sabres put together one of their best weeks of the season going 3-0-1 against the New York Rangers, Carolina, Philadelphia, and Minnesota (all of which were on the road) to propel themselves into the 8th place spot in the East.

Sabres Assign Eight to Portland

WGR 550 reported today that eight more players on the Sabres training camp roster have been assigned to Portland.
