- In this episode we discuss the Sabres’s 4-3 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Sabres had gone 2-8 in their last 10 games and were desperate for the win to get them out of the slump. For the first time in a long while, Sabres fans were treated to an exciting game with a decent number of goals and fights.

- The Buffalo Sabres continue their point streak to eight games by earning a point in a 2-1 shoot out loss to the Colorado Avalance. The Sabres took the 1-0 lead in the second period on Paille's first goal of the season. The game ended up in the shoot out, but the Sabres couldn't match Colorado's prowess and earned their second shoot out loss of the season.

- The Buffalo Sabres continue their point streak to seven games with another comeback, overtime victory over the Minnesota Wild. Despite getting down 3-1, the Sabres roared back late in the third period to tie up the game and win the game 4-3 in overtime.

- In our second episode of SabreCast, Matt and I went for a new tactic: professionalism. The first podcast was a rather rushed affair. We really wanted to get one done to see how hard it would be. We also wanted to get the podcast listed at iTunes and everywhere else and have a few episodes done before the season started. SabreCast #2 should sound a lot better, but I think we should be able to continue to improve it with every episode.
