Today, March 4th marked the last day for NHL teams to make trades until after the playoffs. The Sabres made a few trades, but nothing really substantial and I'm left wondering, did they do enough?

The Buffalo Sabres continue their point streak to eight games by earning a point in a 2-1 shoot out loss to the Colorado Avalance. The Sabres took the 1-0 lead in the second period on Paille's first goal of the season. The game ended up in the shoot out, but the Sabres couldn't match Colorado's prowess and earned their second shoot out loss of the season.

The Buffalo Sabres have had a perfect start to the season, going 4-0 in their first four games. Not only have the Sabres had success, but they have looked the part as well. The Sabres have been very good offensively, defensively, and in goal.

The Buffalo Sabres advance their unbeaten streak to four games to start off the season. The Sabres came away with a 5-2 win at home versus the Vancouver Canucks. Vanek scored his sixth of the season; Kotalik scored two; and MacArthur and Spacek netted one apiece.

The Buffalo Sabres' second game of the season took place earlier today at 2:00 pm against the New York Islanders. The Sabres won 7 - 1 in a blow out.

The Buffalo Sabres opened the season earlier tonight at home versus the Montreal Canadiens. The Sabres won 2 - 1 in the shoot out.
