Game Synopsis
- Connolly and Kotalik were both out of the lineup with injuries, so the lines remained the same as that from the last game.
- The Sabres got up to a 4-2 lead in the first period with goals from Pominville (8), Roy (3), and two from Vanek (15).
- The Sabres defense was very sloppy, making a lot of mistake during the game. Those mistakes caught up in the second period with the Sabres being outscored 3-0.
- After allowing a 7th goal, Miller was pulled and Lalime closed out the third period.
- Not all of the blame can be put on Miller, because the defense played very poorly in front of him.
- In the last six games, the Sabres are 1-4-1.
