The Buffalo Sabres will play the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday at 7:00 pm at HSBC Arena in the their first of two home preseason games. The Sabres have turned the game into a Red Carpet event with festivities beginning at the arena at 5:00 pm. Prior to the game, fans will have a chance to cheer on the team as they walk the red carpet. The Event will be hosted by Kevin Sylvester and feature live music.
The Sabres have also announced the lineup. We won’t get to see too many offensive prospects. Instead, the bulk of the roster will be comprised of some fan favorites and a bruising fourth line. The defense, however, has a nice mix of young talent, veterans, and new faces. I think it will be interesting so see how they play together. It looks like Ryan Miller will play most of the game in net, but don’t be surprised to see Enroth get a period between the pipes.
