Sabres Assign Eight to Portland

WGR 550 reported today that eight more players on the Sabres training camp roster have been assigned to Portland.

The Buffalo Sabres have now played four out of seven total preseason games. Our last report focused on the first two games, so this will pick up on the last two versus the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Minnesota Wild.

Pominville Signs Five Year Deal

Jason Pominville has recently decided that he will discontinue his negotiations towards a contract extension with the Buffalo Sabres on Friday, the day before the season officially begins with first day of training camp.

Sabres Third Jersey Leaked

The third jersey that the Buffalo Sabres will officially unveil on September 20th has been leaked online. The jersey is pretty close to the original Sabres blue and gold jersey.
Miller Time in Buffalo for the Next 5 Years
