SabreCast #42 – The End is Near

In this week’s episode of SabreCast, we discuss the past week’s games, the ever worsening Playoff picture, and how the Sabres need to shake up the team in the off season.
Episode Recap
In the last week, the Sabres have gone 0-3 losing to the Ottawa Senators, Philadephia Flyers, and New York Rangers. The Sabres were brutally outplayed by Ottawa and lost 4-2.
In the next two games, the Sabres pulled out all the stops and let it all hang out. However, the Sabres seemed to forget about defense and hung Lalime out to dry, giving up tons of odd numbered situations.
It seems pretty clear that the Sabres are going to miss out on the Playoffs this season and are going to need a major shake up in the off season. Despite trying times, Matt and I try to stay positive during the show. That, and get our laundry done.
