In this episode we discuss the Sabres’s 4-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. The win was the third straight for the Sabres, who look like they are starting to get back on track. Vanek scored two goals, giving him sole possession of the NHL lead for most goals with 22.

- The Sabres allowed two goals in the first period, but scored a late Power Play goal to give them some momentum.
- Goals came from Stafford (5), Vanek (21), Vanek (22), Pominville (9).
- Vanek scored two goals in the second to give the Sabres the lead, one on a breakaway and one on the Power Play. Pominville scored a shorthanded, empty net goal to solidify the win.
- The Sabres lines seemed to click well even strength, but the special teams play was the key to the game. The Sabres killed all penalties and scored two Power Play goals.
