The Buffalo Sabres continue their point streak to six games to start off the season with a 3-2 shootout win over the Boston Bruins. The Sabres came back from a two goal deficit to take the game to overtime and then win it in the shootout. Stafford scored in regulation and the shootout, MacArthur scored in regulation, and Vanek scored the game-winning shootout goal.
