In a momentary craze of spontaneity, my brother and I came up with a great idea for a new project, a Buffalo Sabres podcast. The very same night we bought this domain, set up a WordPress blog, and started this off with a full head of steam. In the meantime, I’ve also been creating a design for the website, setting up email, a calendar feature, and various social networking accounts.
Right now the plan is to do a podcast after every game (or as many as possible) of the upcoming 2008-09 season. We also plan to do a couple podcasts before then to work out the kinks before the season starts. Neither of us has even done a podcast before, but I have a strong background in digital design and web development, so I think we’ll figure things out.
The website is a little sparse at the moment, but we’ll start putting up some content pretty soon. The major focus right now is to get the design in place. In the meantime, check out the following:

Good Luck with Sabrecast.com. I will be checking the site out and listening to the podcast. I will throw a comment here or there. I am a Sabre season ticket holder and I am looking forward to the season!

Thanks for the comments guys. And yes Poch, we are little behind the schedule that I was hoping for. When I said “a couple of weeks” to get the design up, it turned out that I had more enthusiasm than actual time. Things are coming along though, so it will be coming pretty soon.
