In this week’s episode of SabreCast, we discuss the Sabres’ mediocre week and their diminishing hopes of making the Playoffs.

In the last week, the Sabres went 1-1-1, earning 3 out of 6 points versus the Atlanta Thrashers, Washington Capitals, and New Jersey Devils. Even though the Sabres didn’t do quite as well as they needed to, they still have a glimmer of hope to make the Playoffs.
The Sabres are only 4 points out with a game on hand of both the Panthers and Rangers. That isn’t a big gap, but the Sabres can still make it if both the Rangers and Panthers lose at least a game a piece AND the Sabres win all 4 games of their own. The Sabres win any tie breakers with either team.
